Features:

When the wheel of the wheelchair bumps on the mobile skate of the mechanical caliper the clamps automatically locks the wheel.
By manually acting on the lever of the mechanical caliper the wheel of the wheelchair can be unlocked. The lever may be right sided (DX) or left sided (SX)

Mechanical characteristics:

The distance between the tips of the clamps of the mechanical caliper is 23 mm, so a blocked wheel does not come out from the caliper when the vehicle is in motion or in the event of sudden stops
The force required to release the lever is 1.2 kg
The caliper may include a micro-switch that signals to the driver the locked wheel of the wheelchair
The caliper may include a Barrier-Fire flange at the base to avoid the spread of flames, in the event of a fire, through the electrical wires of the micro-switch
